One of my favorite families this year is back, and they have a new member of the family! You might remember them from their maternity session from a few weeks back. Oh my goodness, I was so excited to meet their beautiful 14 day old baby girl, Sadie Marie last week. Not only was their home gorgeous, but there was an overwhelming sense of calm that put me immediately at ease. Even Sadie felt the calm vibe and was happy to snuggle and sleep through all of my swaddling and posing, and I even managed to capture a few of those fleeting newborn smiles. When it was time for family photos, big brother was so excited to hold her and happily gave her kisses. While the whole family snuggled close on the bed, I could see genuine happiness in the eyes of these parents as they looked back and forth between their two babies. Photographing families as they grow is one of my favorite things! I love seeing my clients over and over again and documenting each wonderful moment in their lives. And this session seriously contained so much sweetness, happiness and love, I am over the moon happy for this family and hope to photograph even more of their happiest moments as a new family of four!
